Career Education Programs - Career Clusters
Medical Technology - Diagnostic This course is for those students interested in a future health career. The primary focus is preparation of the student for a post-secondary education to allow for a smoother transition from high school to the college setting. Emphasis is placed on achievement by use of an advanced curriculum. It is designed to introduce the student to the health care field as well as to basic anatomy, physiology and disease processes including the technology used within the scope of medicine through lecture, lab and computer applications. In addition, students may be involved in the medical community through volunteer and workplace experiences.
