Career Education Programs - Career Clusters
Early Childhood Education The curriculum of a preschool includes applied psychology and sociology, nutrition, job attitude and child development theory. Emphasis is placed on learning and developing skills in the care and guidance of children. Students will help operate a preschool for young children, plan and direct play and learning experiences for children, practice sanitation, construct toys and equipment for use in the preschool. Senior students will apply their skills working in a preschool, day care or as an educational aide on a primary level.
