Career Education Programs - Career Clusters
Dental Assisting A two-year program for juniors and seniors interested in a medical career in the dental profession. Course content includes anatomy, dental specialties, oral hygiene, preventive dentistry, and record keeping. The program prepares students for entry level positions as a chair-side assistant, receptionist, or sterilization assistant. Students may also continue their education in advanced programs in dentistry and are eligible to sit for the Ohio Dental Assisting Certification exam during their senior year.
