Computer Aided Design![]() Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a two year comprehensive program aimed at the development of basic drafting skills. Students will develop specialized skills in a specific field of drafting. During the junior year, the skills stressed are the use of drawing instruments, drawing reproduction, object visualization, methods of representing data and introduction to computer-aided drawing. In the twelfth grade, skill development is directed toward job placement in the major areas of architecture, mechanical systems, machine design, civil engineering, drafting, structural steel, electrical and electronics drafting.
