Graphic Arts![]() Printed material from newspapers and magazines to travel brochures and business reports continue to be a popular communications media, even as computer design is revolutionizing the industry. Students will learn both current technology and the time-tested basics of publication procedures. They will learn the basics of design and layout, computer graphics and desktop publishing, operations of offset printing equipment and state-of-the-art Xerox digital printing systems. There are opportunities for internships and early job placement. Students are involved in career and technical student organizations, community service projects and the International Printing Week Festival.
