Career Education Programs - Career Clusters
Animal Management Technology The curriculum covers basic husbandry (general care, feeding, and handling of common pet animals), grooming, employability skills, and entrepreneurship. Anatomy and physiology, behavior, nutrition, genetics, general animal health, and marketing sales skills are also stressed. Students are trained in the daily care of pets, the operation and maintenance of a grooming shop and pet store, as well as veterinary assistant skills.
