Information Technology

Foundations are set at the ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade levels at all six schools offering the IT program. The senior year provide students with skills needed for success in today’s technology-based economy. Students will be able to take advantage of Transportation Option to take one of the following four specialties in Information Support and Services (Buchtel or Garfield), Interactive Media (Ellet or Firestone), Programming and Software Development (Kenmore), and Network Systems (East at Central Hower). They will also be involved in student organizations, mentoring programs, internships, college visits, job shadowing and worksite tours.
